Please read the following policies before purchasing to keep this small business running as smoothly as possible.

How to purchase

Placing the item in your cart will not reserve it; checkout process must be fully completed before an item is guaranteed.

You can create an account on our website and login before shopping, for a faster checkout.

 

Processing time

For ready to ship items (usually all new drop items unless otherwise specified), please allow 3-7 business days for your order to be processed.

For made to order items and pre-orders, please refer to the processing time specified in the listing.

 

Shipping

Standard shipping does not provide tracking.

Standard tracked shipping does provide partial tracking; your parcel will be tracked until it leaves Italy border and then from when it reaches your country.

Express and Courier shipping provides full tracking.

Please note that due to the global pandemic and peak seson, shipping times could be delayed.

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. We are not responsible for delays due to customs.

If an item is lost by the carrier and your order does not include 'Route shipping insurance', Cemetery Lane Design is not to be held liable, nor required to provide a refund. It is strongly recommended to include 'Route Shipping Insurance' to your order at checkout. 

 

Return and Exchange

Cemetery Lane Design does not offer return, exchanges or refunds. All sales are final except in the event of a fulfillment error on our end. For any issue with your order please contact us immediately at cemeterylanedesign@gmail.com

All orders are packed with care to avoid any damage during transportation and leave our hands in pristine conditions. If any damages occur, it will be the fault of carrier mishandling. By choosing Route Shipping protection, your order will be insured, allowing you to file a claim with ease and receive a refund. Due to the handcrafted nature of our work, we will not be able to make a replacement.

 

Route Shipping Insurance

Route is a third party application that allows customers to buy shipping insurance for all orders. Route ensures protection of customers' shipment in case of lost, stolen or damaged goods.

You will find Route’s Shipping insurance option in the checkout page. If you add Route's Shipping Insurance to your order you will receive an email with the instruction on how to fill a claim if necessary. You can also proceed to file a claim here

Lost Orders
  • An order is presumed to be lost by the carrier, when the status of your tracking doesn’t show "delivered".
  • If tracking shows no movement or looks to be stuck after exceeding the appropriate amount of shipping days, orders may be considered as lost and a claim will need to be made. This does not include processing time in international customs.

How many days following the last tracking update should I file my claim?

  • International orders - 20 days 

Claims for orders lost in-transit must be filed within 30 days from the last available tracking update.

Stolen Orders
  • Packages marked as "delivered" yet not received are considered by Route as stolen.
  • Route asks you to wait 5 days from the “delivery date” before reaching out and filing your claim. Any claim for more than $100.00 will require a police report.

Claims for stolen orders must be filed within 15 days from the date your package was marked delivered. 

Damaged Orders
  • If your item arrives damaged, unusable, or in an unacceptable condition, Route encourages customers to file a claim immediately.
  • Please include photo reference of damaged item and packaging received.
