Gothic cathedral halo - mirror

Please note, the halo in the picture is not complete yet, but very close to be ready to ship. It needs to have crystals and rhinestones added, as well as satin and felt finish to the headband and combs (refer to red halo pictures for details that needs to be added). With gothic cathedral stained glass halos, I wanted to challenge mysel in creating wearable art statement pieces. This halos represents my love for gothic architecture, stained glass and really really "simple" looks, because why not, everyone deserves to feel part of royalty!

The windows are made with stained glass, mirror and the decorations are made with permanent vinyl. Spires between each windows are embellished with faceted crystals, as well as the crown itself which have dangling faceted crystals on the sides, creating tiny rainbows when sunlight passes through it. The headband is embellished with rhinestones, finished with satin and padded with felt to offer extra comfort while wearing it. Each crown have 2 combs attached to the headband to offer more stability and anchor point for pins if needed.

This stained glass halos are a true work of love, as to create and embellish each one of this, it requires approximately 20 hours, but it's SO worth it once you see light shining through the windows and creating beautiful refractions!  

Approximate measurement of the halo is 15cm / 5,90" tall from the heaband, 35cm/ 13,77" wide from side to side, approximately 350g / 12,35 oz. Headband is sturdy and more stability is offered by the combs attached to it. It is possible to include ribbons to tie the headband behind the head upon request.
